Job Summary

The Accounting Internship will provide the student with relevant skills in a variety of accounting functions



Key Duties

    Prepare and calculate various monthly journal entries across different departments
  • Assist with fixed asset accounting and document fixed asset reconciliations
  • Serve as a local Blackline system administrator
  • Assist with Accounts Payable day-to-day duties
  • Populate Blackline Certification checklists on a monthly basis
  • Other duties, as assigned


Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • Actively enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited University with a major in Accounting, Finance, or other related program.

Skills, Specialized Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Exceptional data entry skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Seeking Part-time/Full-time internship (Monday-Friday, flexible with school schedule)

Requirements (Physical, Mental, Environmental Demands)

  • Ability to work on a PC including repetitive use of a keyboard and mouse for long periods throughout the course of the work day.
  • Ability to walk up and down several flights of stairs throughout the work day in a multi-location facility.
  • Must be able to concentrate, analyze and solve complex issues throughout the course of the work day.
  • Must be able to analyze and concentrate routinely throughout the course of the work day
