To make Krispy Kreme's in-shop experience even sweeter, many shops across the globe feature the brands one-of-a-kind doughnut theatre, an immersive, interactive experience through which guests can see Krispy Kreme's melt-in-your-mouth doughnuts being made right before their eyes.

Krispy Kreme's Brand Manager, Product Strategy guides the development process for new product initiatives, as well as optimization to current menu platforms, delivering high quality (and awesome) Krispy Kreme experiences to our consumers. The individual in this position works closely with the Director of Global Menu Innovation and other key XFN partners at all levels throughout the organization, as well as vendor/agency partners, moving product development projects through the process from initial ideation and project briefing all the way to commercialization market testing, ensuring we have strong programs to transition to our broader marketing team for scale-up/launch.

HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Works with leadership to deliver against the innovation vision and articulation of key strategies within our priority, ultimately converting that menu vision into a pipeline of compelling concepts and products.
  • Oversees planning, organizing, and driving all aspects of an innovation projects from a brand marketer perspective, ensuring engagement, commitment, and risk management of the project against defined objectives.
  • Acts as a key stakeholder and partner with the commercialization team through the IDEAL development process for all projects.
  • Partners with brand, consumer insights and finance to formalize NPD briefs for each project, rooted in a strong understanding of our brand, coupled with relevant knowledge of our consumer and the market, ultimately supported with business justification.
  • Collaborates with brand marketing, culinary innovation, operations and L&D to ensure conceptual products/programs can be translated consistently with customer wonder and operational excellence.
  • In partnership with culinary innovation leads and supply chain, ensures products are developed within specified cost parameters to achieve our business targets (traffic, profit, menu mix and sales), while also delivering on a quality experience.
  • Continuously evaluates and prioritizes projects in the pipeline in partnership with brand and culinary innovation partners, providing ongoing communications on status to ensure management alignment.
  • Ensures an appropriate mix of projects are always in the pipeline in key areas: productivity and continuous improvement to core doughnut menu, shape and form innovation, promotional, line extensions, and new platforms.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS:

  • 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in product innovation or brand marketing * Passion for food and beverage innovation is required
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field required. MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working with restaurant brands preferred
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to move projects forward in a constructive and timely manner
  • Capable of working with and rallying multiple departments/key stakeholders around common goals
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task, managing numerous projects and effectively adapt to shifting priorities
  • Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
  • Comfortable being a business owner, working independently and making decisions using sound judgment and discretion
