Responsibilities

The Clinic Scheduler is responsible for scheduling, canceling, and confirming patient's appointments for Coshocton Regional Medical Center Hospital Based Clinics by direct or indirect contact with our customers. Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, and authorizations are secured when applicable.



Qualifications

    High school diploma or equivalent.
  1. Experience in a Hospital or Physician Office setting preferred.
  2. Knowledge of medical terminology.
  3. Must possess ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  4. Must be able to multi task and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills are required in dealing with patients, co-workers and the public.
  6. Excellent telephone etiquette skills are required.
  7. Basic computer skills, understanding of Microsoft windows environment required.
  8. Working knowledge of office equipment such as copiers, fax machines and other office equipment required.
