Summary
We are seeking a summer intern to join our Audit team! Our Internal Audit team ensures the bank's operational integrity and efficiency through independent evaluations and comprehensive oversight. We collaborate across all business lines to provide risk-based assurance, advice, and insight, enhancing controls, reducing risk, and improving efficiency. Additionally, we manage full analytics development and conduct SOX and SOC1 testing for Finance and IT areas.
Job Description

The Internal Audit Data Analytics Intern would bolster and learn from a small but highly technical data analytics team supporting bank-wide analytics and reporting. The DA team within Internal Audit supports all subject areas including Finance, Human Resources, Loan Originations, Loan servicing, Compliance, Information Technology, Wealth, SOX and SOC1 and more in an effort to reduce audit distraction to the supported lines of business, increase audit efficiency and quality, and provide continuous monitoring and testing.This is a 10-week internship program located in Tulsa, OK for the summer of 2025.

How You'll Spend Your Time
  • You will perform coding and analysis using Alteryx, Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Oracle SQL, and SQL Server.
  • You will create documentation for continuous monitoring and testing.
  • You will develop, maintain, and update Internal Audit reference data architecture.
  • You will support internal projects within Alteryx and Power Platform.
  • You will conduct user testing and analytics benchmarking performance.
  • You will develop reproducible SQL queries across multiple subject areas.
Education & Experience Requirements

Technical Skills Required:

  • Required, SQL ( PL-SQL or T-SQL, may be referenced as Oracle SQL or SQL Server). Both would be preferred, but at least one would be essential.
  • Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Cognos, Alteryx, etc. Power BI and Alteryx preferred.
  • Familiarity with database design concepts.
  • Advanced Excel capabilities including embedded queries or data connections and IFS formulas and Power Query required. Additionally, VBA ("Visual Basic") in Excel preferred.
  • Preferred familiarity with HTML, XML, and JSON.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality inside and outside of the organization.
  • Reliability and consistency in attendance and work performance.
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures rapidly as the situation arises.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
