Job Title: OSP Laborer Location: Apopka, FL Job Summary: As an OSP Communications Ground Hand Laborer, you'll help with installing and maintaining cables and equipment for outside plant communications. You'll work with a team to place, rearrange, and remove poles, conduits, cables, and other equipment. This job involves working outdoors and may require working on weekends, holidays, and overtime. Key Responsibilities: * Assist with aerial and underground construction * Perform physical labor to support construction tasks * Complete paperwork as needed * Work in various weather conditions * Follow instructions from the crew foreman * Keep records of work activities * Use hand tools Safety Responsibilities: * Follow safety regulations and standards * Participate in job site safety analysis Qualifications: * Valid Driver's License required * Ability to work nights and weekends * Team player with good communication skills * Comfortable working outdoors in different environments * Physically able to perform tasks such as lifting up to 70 pounds, working at heights, and in trenches * Interest in telecommunications or fiber optics Physical Demands: * Work at heights and depths * Bend, twist, and reach while working * Use hands to handle small objects * Walk and perform physical tasks all day * Lift and carry heavy objects Work Environment: * Work outdoors in various weather conditions * Work in noisy environments Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
