SUMMARY

As a CNC Machinist II at Regal Rexnord, you will be responsible for taking on more complex machining and responsibilities, including programming CNC machines and perform advanced troubleshooting. This mid-level position requires basic knowledge of CNC operations and a willingness to learn and grow within the company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software.
  • Set up and adjust machines for different production runs.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting and maintenance on CNC equipment.
  • Inspect and verify the quality of finished products using precision measuring tools.
  • Train and mentor Level 1 machinists.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize processes.
  • Maintain detailed records of production activities and machine performance.
  • Other duties as required.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proficiency in CNC programming and CAD/CAM software.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of precision measuring tools and techniques.
  • Leadership and mentoring abilities.
  • Attention to detail and quality control.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks.
*Good reading and comprehension. *The ability to work long periods standing up; lift and manipulate heavy loads (up to 60 lbs); *Twist, turn, bend, stoop, push, pull, reach and walk repetitively, and work with oils, coolants and lubricants. *Must be willing to work overtime, which may include occasional weekends.
