The Strategic Planning Principal plays a critical role in driving and managing organizational change initiatives and operational excellence. This role will collaborate closely with various teams, including HR, Learning and Development, Strategic Planning and Internal Communications to ensure successful change implementation and alignment with strategic objectives. Your expertise and leadership will be essential in guiding the company through transformative periods. What You Will Be Doing:
Develop and implement change management strategies and plans to minimize resistance and maximize employee engagement during organizational changes. Assess the impact of proposed changes and develop appropriate change management strategies and communication plans. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential barriers to successful change implementation. Work closely with senior leadership to align change management efforts with organizational goals;build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including project managers, PS leaders, and employees and manage stakeholder expectations and address concerns related to change. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees throughout the change process, ensuring clarity and understanding of the change objectives and expected outcomes. Identify and assess potential risks associated with change initiatives, develop, and implement mitigation plans to address identified risks and monitor and track risks throughout the change process. Measure and monitor the effectiveness of change initiatives, gathering feedback and adjusting strategies as needed. Create actionable deliverables for the core change management plans: Sponsor Plan, People Manager Plan, Communications Plan, and Training Plan Create actionable deliverables for any required "Extend" plans, such as the Resistance Management Plan Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of change initiatives; provide regular reports to senior leadership on the progress of change management efforts and Identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for future change management initiatives. Develop and deliver change management training programs to build change readiness and capability within the organization. Coordinate efforts with other teams such as Learning & Development, HR, Communications and Strategic Planning Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in change management, applying relevant insights to enhance change initiatives.
What You Will Likely Bring:
8+ years of experience in change management or related roles. Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing organizational change initiatives. Strong understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools. Flexible and adaptable; able to work proactively in ambiguous environments and ability to manage multiple projects and a diverse set of stakeholders across different levels and parts of the business Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively influence and guide stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
What Could Set You Apart:
Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. 8+ years of relevant professional experience (change management, stakeholder engagement, communications or deployment strongly preferred), demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance Prosci Certification preferred
