We are seeking a Tax Manager to collaborate with our Senior Director of Tax in overseeing and managing our income, sales, use, and property taxes across multiple states. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our tax returns and related compliance reporting, while also analyzing tax situations and communicating strategies across all levels of the organization. In this role, you will manage both direct and indirect tax functions to ensure full compliance with laws and regulations, minimizing risks and exposure. You'll play a key role in the design, maintenance, and implementation of our ERP system's tax-related aspects to enhance efficiency and reduce expenses. Your expertise will be crucial in understanding product taxability across jurisdictions, providing tax advice, and implementing tax planning opportunities. We are looking for a leader who is ready to develop and support our Indirect Tax staff, ensuring they are trained in tax research techniques and up-to-date with industry trends and changing laws. Your ability to work closely with the Senior Tax Director to make informed tax decisions will be invaluable, as will your participation in preparing and managing our departmental budget. This role comes with supervisory responsibilities, requiring you to develop, coach, and mentor your team, conduct performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions as necessary.
