Job Summary The role will be responsible for advancing the maturity of Employbridge Health, Safety & Environmental Management System to align with the enterprise vision and continuous improvement strategy. This position will lead and provide guidance to enable Executive Level, Managers and Branch Safety Leaders to achieve a best-in-class standard of safety performance. Work closely with functional peers within the Legal, Risk, Operations, Contracts, Sales, and Finance teams and interface with senior leaders in the organization driving continuous improvement, managing, and mitigating risk, and creating enterprise value. Your Role & Responsibilities
- Provide leadership direction, coaching, training, and mentoring to a diverse team of regionally deployed Employbridge Safety Team members to ensure coordinated efforts corresponding with the overall safety strategy and defined objectives set forth by the EB safety system.
- In consultation with appropriate Employbridge stakeholder groups, direct the design, development, deployment of the EB Way for Safety.
- Work with team to determine what to standardize, create and implement for safety directors, safety consultants, field leadership, branches, and on-site locations.
- Create a data driven approach on how to use safety as a service for prospects and clients and measure ROI on our current and future state offerings.
- Integrate Safety into our sales and retention efforts to align with corporate goals
- Implement and monitor safety systems, processes, and programs with a focus on preventing accidents and injuries.
- Effectively engage every level within the Employbridge organization to ensure the integration of safety systems, processes, and programs into everyday business activities.
- Develop and maintain, in consultation with relevant stakeholders, plans and strategies to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and deliverables as negotiated with and set by EB Risk leadership team.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
- Work with Employbridge Risk Management and Workers Compensation Teams to ensure there is a comprehensive focus on accident/injury prevention, cost reduction, effective case management, return-to-work programs, safety metrics, and other safety supporting activities.
- Work with the Contracts team to review client contracts meet the Company standards
- Work with sales and operations stakeholders to promote our health & safety efforts as a business/growth differentiator
- Work with OSHA counsel to coordinate responses to any OSHA citations
- Provide regular formal and informal reports to senior leadership on the safety program's successes, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Direct education/training efforts for all levels of clients and employees, including branch supervision and senior management.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Safety, Environmental, Engineering, Behavior Safety, Industrial Hygiene, etc.) or 8-12 years of equivalent experience required.
