SSAI (Science Systems and Applications, Inc.) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced part-time Capture Associate with deep expertise in California state and local procurement, particularly with entities like Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA), Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), Transit Authorities, and County/State procurement offices. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of successful proposal capture, award wins, and a strong pipeline of partner businesses and contract opportunities. This position is remote based in Los Angeles, CA. The Capture Associate will work with the director to implement capture strategy and execution for state and local government opportunities in California. They will leverage existing relationships with LAWA, LAUSD, transit agencies, and other regional procurement offices to identify and pursue high-value contracts. The ideal candidate maintains and grows a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities, teaming partners, and past awardees, while collaborating with technical teams and proposal writers to develop compliant, compelling RFIs, RFPs, and pricing strategies. This person must stay current on California's procurement landscape and identify key trends, priorities, and funding mechanisms, while also leading pre-RFP engagement and ensuring compliance with all procurement requirements.
