We are currently seeking a Plant Logistics Manager to join our team in Benson MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the internal plant logistics and material flow, master scheduling, materials buying/ planning, inventory management and control, and materials strategy. This position is a key enabler of lean and continuous improvement activities in the plant.



Responsibilities

    Oversee Lead scheduling, procurement, Inventory Control, Inbound logistics and purchased part material planning.
  • Works closely with Plant Management to help develop and implement processes that improve our inventory processes that include major reductions in inventory while improving internal / external delivery performance.
  • Oversee Shipment of requested Repair parts division as well as shipment of CNH parts to various company sister plants.

The annual salary for this role is $133,875 - $178,500 (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)



Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment that has embraced /Lean concepts, MRP manufacturing practices, and progressive supplier relationships.
  • 3 or more years of managerial experience focusing on talent development, standardizing, planning, execution, and process improvement.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Engineering disciplines strongly preferred.
  • APICS certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) highly desirable.
  • Considerable experience with SAP
  • In-depth knowledge of computerized integrated information systems (manufacturing, materials management, production planning, procurement, and distribution.
  • Experience with visual management systems.
  • Be a proactive change agent and possess leadership skills to build and maintain a team oriented environment, while leveraging WCM/Lean Methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Provide dedicated support of internal customer requirements.
  • Possess high-level organizational skills with the ability to work multiple priorities at once.
