Join our South Division FP&A team and play a vital role in supporting the Director of FP&A. With approximately half of the focus dedicated to financial reporting, you'll be instrumental in generating daily sales information and contributing to internal financial narratives, collaborating with regional finance teams for an efficient monthly close. This impactful role also involves developing insightful monthly and quarterly financial metrics, providing a clear performance overview across South Division regional companies, with a significant focus on commission analysis and reporting. You will also be a key contributor to the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes, delivering insightful ad hoc analyses. We're seeking someone who can effectively utilize tools like Power BI and has experience with automation to enhance our reporting and analytical processes. This role is about providing the Director of FP&A with the critical analysis and robust reporting needed to understand trends, optimize commission strategies, and inform the South Division's financial direction.

Drive South Division Financial Reporting (Approximately 50% Focus):

  • Generate and distribute daily sales information.

  • Contribute to the monthly financial close process by collaborating with regional finance teams.

  • Develop and distribute insightful monthly and quarterly financial metrics and reporting packages for the South Division.

  • Prepare periodic reports and presentations for the Director of FP&A and potentially senior management.

  • Utilize SAP's Business Warehouse and Power BI to efficiently extract, analyze, and visualize data for reporting purposes.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to automate reporting processes for improved efficiency and accuracy.

Support Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis (Approximately 50% Focus)

  • Analyze key financial and operating metrics (sales trends, margins, expenses, capital utilization) specific to the South Division, providing clear and concise analysis to the Director of FP&A.

  • Assist in the development of sophisticated financial models supporting South Division strategy and corporate FP&A, with a focus on forecasting, scenario planning, and commission impact.

  • Take a significant role in the detailed analysis and reporting of sales commissions, ensuring accuracy, providing variance analysis, and collaborating on commission-related tasks.

  • Participate in the annual budget and quarterly forecasting processes for the South Division, working closely with regional finance and supporting the Director of FP&A's initiatives.

  • Conduct insightful ad hoc analyses as requested by the Director of FP&A.

  • Stay informed of industry trends and technologies, contributing fresh perspectives to enhance our financial analysis and reporting capabilities within the South Division.

  • Execute assigned projects and tasks as directed by the Director of FP&A.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field. MBA preferred.

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive financial reporting and analysis experience with a proven track record. Public accounting experience and significant experience with commission analysis are highly valued. Experience with Power BI and automation tools/techniques is a plus.

  • Technical Expertise: Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills are critical. Experience with Power BI and other data visualization tools is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in SAP or other ERP is preferred. Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.

  • Strong Analytical & Reporting Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate clear, actionable insights and robust financial reports, particularly related to financial performance and commission structures.

  • Effective Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey financial information to various audiences, including the Director of FP&A and regional teams.

  • Demonstrated Results Orientation: Proven ability to manage deadlines, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment, directly supporting the Director of FP&A's objectives.

  • Collaborative Approach: Demonstrated ability to work effectively within teams and build positive working relationships, particularly with regional finance and in support of the Director of FP&A.
