GENERAL PURPOSE Ensure the efficient and accurate performance of duties that support activities of bagging and debagging bottles. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Maintain familiarity with all applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related items * Demonstrate knowledge of all equipment to include all support equipment and make minor adjustments and repairs * Maintain flow of production, remove defective bottles from production line, and place in bin for recycling * Maintain communication with other departments, management, and employees; notify them of any problems and/or concerns that may restrict the efficiency of production * Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear, legible, and accurate format and completed with required information * Ensure all required information is documented in accordance with SOP's * Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes * Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately * Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues * Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements * The requirements herein are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employee, but is not a complete list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required. Other duties may be assigned as required EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE * High school diploma or equivalent preferred * Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred * Certification and/or License - may be required during course of employment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES * Able to effectively work in a team environment * Able to legibly write entries for record keeping * Able to use company computer systems * Able to work in a fast-paced environment * Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing * Able to follow directions * Able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals * Must be able to read, write and speak English An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans |
