Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Analyst, Performance Analytics.
In this role, the successful candidate Collects, enters and interprets data on various platforms. Maintains associated databases, generates reports and interprets data to aid quality improvement. Produces statistical reports/data files for analyzing and presenting to stakeholders. Maintains and helps develop key performance indicators (KPIs) for use in various dashboards. Acts as analytical resources for the quality department with ongoing performance improvement projects.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs other duties as assigned
Support performance/operational dashboards in Tableau. Run reports from the Vizient Clinical Database Resource Manager (CDBRM), Clinical Database Resource Manager, Operational Database (ODB) and other performance databases. Runs other queries as requested by the Quality Management team. Refreshes information on a monthly or weekly basis
Prepare meeting materials for quality Improvement committee such as, and Quality Improvement Advisory Council (QIAC), AQIC, Department Head as well as other quality meetings as they arise. Provides analysis of data and helps user interpret results.
Writes reports in Epic reporting workbench and utilize Epic Clarity reports to meet end user needs.
Acts as a resource to Quality and Process Improvement groups. Provides statistical and analytical support. Provides project management support utilizing the concepts within the LEAN methodology.
Coordinates the completion of external surveys, including but not limited to the US News and World Report Best Hospitals Survey, AHA Annual Survey, and the Leapfrog survey. Provides feedback to administration and staff on the impacts of these surveys and provides guidance on how to improve standing.
Assist with daily systems operations of the department. Provide ongoing technical support as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Business,Healthcare analytics, Public Health or related field.
1 - 2 years Healthcare Analytics.
Excellent communication (both written and oral), detail orientation, customer service, organization, and multitasking skills.
Advanced computer skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) to include spreadsheet applications, graphic design, Internet and database applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Business,Healthcare analytics, Public Health or related field. 3 - 5 years Healthcare Analytics.
Knowledge of industry agencies related to quality measurement such as National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN),
CMS, AHRQ etc. Knowledge of Vizient Clinical Database / Resource Manager( CDB/RM), Epic EMR and LEAN.
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
