BID/JOB ANNOUNCEMENT Staff Assistant Department of Police Office of Constitutional Policing and Reform (OCPR) Number of Positions: 2 (Additional vacancies possible pending budget approval) Starting Salary: $66,162/YR This position is open to the public and all current city employees covered under the City's Collective Bargaining Agreement with AMERICAN FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) - BARGAINING UNIT 1, 3, 4 & 5. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Location: Chicago Police Headquarters Address: 3510 S Michigan Ave, 4th Flr Shift: Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Salary: $66,162/year (non-negotiable) THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE as required. Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS : Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, supplemented by one year of administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Selection Requirements: This position requires applicants to successfully pass a skills assessment test to be invited for an interview. Test results will be sent out by the Department of Human Resources after test results have been analyzed and compiled. The interviewed candidate(s) who possess the qualifications best suited to fulfill the responsibilities of the position will be selected. Preference will be given to candidates possessing the following:
