Job Description Summary

AAM is searching for a Manager Supply Chain Management - Data Integrity to join our Metal Forming organization. This position will be based out of our World Headquarters location in Detroit, MI. As a Supply Chain Manager, you will have the responsibility of coordinating and managing the critical metrics for the global plant's performance. Manage inventory scorecards, customer operating plans and schedules, and Plan for Every Part (PFEP) attainment. Analyze, identify and problem solve issues. Ensure all plants follow the Supply Chain assessment procedures and conducts corporate assessments.

Job Description

  • Responsible for monitoring inventory levels and compliance weekly.
  • Responsible for tracking the Annual Physical Inventory (API) schedules and results.
  • Responsible for auditing the plant Plan for Every Part (PFEP) parameters and attainment and identifying non-conformances.
  • Responsible for the preparing and the distribution of operational reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends weekly.
  • Responsible for tracking cycle counts schedules and performance monthly.
  • Responsible for supporting and training the plants on business systems and processes.
  • Responsible for Supply Chain Management business process and system enhancements by working with IT to develop, test and implement improvements.
  • Responsible for maintaining templates.

Required Skills and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience plus 6-9 years post degree minimum.
