Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in New York, NY. This is a 12 + month contract position. Responsibilities: First point of contact for end business users in FICC for all intraday risk issues Troubleshoot complex end-to-end flow of trades and market data updates Ownership and delivery of onboarding support of new lines of business and workflows Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements Incident and Problem Management Event Management (Monitoring and Alert life cycle Management) Define and drive monitoring improvements and technical processes Capacity, Performance and Resiliency Management Tool development in-house projects such as Python Stakeholder management and communication Knowledge management Requirements: Hands on experience providing direct support to front office trading desks Business knowledge of fixed income products Understanding of market data flows Monitoring Tools: Dynatrace, Splunk and ITRS Geneos Unix SQL Python ITIL Grid Computing Quartz Pay range: $61.60 - $69.60 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
