Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assist engineers in determining the practicality of proposed product design changes, plan, and carry out tests on experimental test devices or equipment for performance, durability, or efficiency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support production equipment as needed, sometimes working with maintenance. Perform troubleshooting of issues and implement appropriate fix when possible.
- Work on new product developments and tooling design, assist with changeover, part measurements for Dev. Report
- Work on equipment improvement projects. May include design, minor fabrication, RFQ and PR process
- Work on other improvements project. May include cycle time reduction, planned maintenance days/rebuilds, heavy maintenance
- Support new line installs/run offs of new equip
- May require weekend coverage and odd hours (rarely) or after hour call support (rarely)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EDUCATION, AND ABILITIES:
- 2 year engineering degree beneficial
- 5+ years of maintenance/technical experience
- G code, M code programming experience preferred
- Extensive mechanical ability with basic electrical ability necessary
- PLC knowledge and AutoCAD experience beneficial
- Must have basic computer skills (Email, Excel, Word, etc.)
