Title: Help Desk Technician Salary: $68,000-$75,000 (Depending On Experience) Location: San Diego, CA Type: Full time, direct hire; 100% onsite Responsibilities: Ensures end users have a positive experience by effectively addressing their computing needs. Installs, maintains, and upgrades computing equipment to ensure optimal performance. Resolves technical issues in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner through in-person support, phone, or email. Escalates complex issues to the appropriate teams or third-party vendors, tracking progress and following up to ensure timely resolution. Installs, maintains, monitors, and troubleshoots user devices, network hardware, peripheral devices, printers, scanners, presentation equipment, and other related products. Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves complex hardware/software issues for various end users, implementing corrective solutions, including off-site repairs when needed. Requirements: Associate's degree or equivalent certification is required (Two years of equivalent experience can substitute for every one year of education). Network and/or Microsoft certifications are highly desirable. 3 years of support experience with hands-on PC/OS troubleshooting and repair is required. Experience with networking, basic Active Directory (AD) administration, and end-user support is preferred. A current, valid driver's license in good standing is required, as driving is part of the job. Note: Any pay ranges displayed are estimations.
