This job description is for an* AV Field Engineer* with a strong background in troubleshooting and maintaining Audio/Visual systems, particularly those involving Crestron equipment. Here are the key points: Job Details: * Position: AV Field Engineer * Onsite in LA area * AV certs are a HUGE plus * MUST BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD AND MODIFY PROGRAMMING IN CRESTON SYSTEMS * Pay: $40 to $50 per hour (negotiable based on experience) * Travel: Mostly local, mileage covered Responsibilities: * Troubleshooting & Maintenance: * Custom Control systems (Crestron DM and NVX / AMX, BIAMP, QSC, DANTE AUDIO) * Complex audio-video systems in executive board rooms and conference centers * Video teleconferencing equipment and systems * Audio Visual over IP (AVoIP) networks * Audio DSP systems (amplifiers, speakers, microphones) * Projection display devices and systems * Video wall and digital signage equipment * RF Systems (analog and digital) * Other Duties: * Conduct Preventative Maintenance testing * Perform site surveys for service agreement quotes * Write concise service reports and system site surveys * Manage multiple service projects * Lead and mentor junior/intermediate field service techs Qualifications: * Education: * Two-year diploma from a technical school or equivalent experience * CTS certification preferred * Experience: * Minimum 3 years of field service experience * Skills: * Audiovisual, Crestron, Audio, Service, Video conferencing, Installation * Excellent verbal and written communication * Customer interfacing * Other Requirements: * Valid driver's license with a clean driving record * Physical ability to stand, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, lift over 50 pounds, and work in various environments Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.98 - $40.98/hr.
