Appgate Lead Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Appgate Network Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Network Security, Testing, Cisco VPN, VPN Networking, Network Routing Protocols, Appgate, Azure App Gateway, Zero Trust Network Access, Zero Trust security, GCP, Ansible and Terraform. The role requires domain experience in Consumer Lending. This is a hybrid work model with rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage Appgate Secure Access solutions to ensure secure and seamless connectivity.

• Implement Zero Trust principles to enhance network security and access control.

• Monitor and troubleshoot Appgate systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate Appgate solutions with existing infrastructure.

• Develop and enforce security policies and procedures in line with organizational requirements.

• Provide technical support and training to end-users and stakeholders on Appgate solutions.

• Lead the implementation and management of network security protocols to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data.
• Oversee the configuration and maintenance of Cisco VPN and VPN Networking to support secure remote access.
• Provide expert guidance on network routing protocols to optimize network performance and reliability.
• Manage and configure Azure App Gateway to ensure secure and efficient application delivery.
• Implement Zero Trust Network Access and Zero Trust security principles to enhance the security posture of the organization.
• Utilize GCP to deploy and manage cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability and security.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible to streamline network operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Leverage Terraform to manage infrastructure as code ensuring consistent and repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security aligns with business objectives and compliance requirements.
• Conduct regular network security testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for network-related issues ensuring minimal downtime and disruption.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network security and performance.
• Contribute to the development of network security policies and procedures to safeguard organizational assets.

Qualifications

• Must have extensive experience in Network Security Testing Cisco VPN VPN Networking and Network Routing Protocols.
• Should have hands-on experience with Azure App Gateway and Zero Trust Network Access.
• Must be proficient in Zero Trust security principles and practices.
• Should have experience working with GCP and managing cloud infrastructure.
• Must be skilled in using Ansible for automation and Terraform for infrastructure management.
• Should have domain experience in Consumer Lending.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $73,350- $133,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
