JOB SUMMARY
Under general direction, the Senior eLearning Consultant seeks to accomplish the goals and objectives for the department of Talent Development, Human Resources, and the University by delivering high level knowledge, skills, and abilities in Talent Development.

This position falls under a hybrid work schedule with one day per month in office and as required.

    3 years to five (5) years of experience required in a related field.

JOB DUTIES



  • Plans, designs, and develops engaging & highly effective multimedia-based communications and learning designs, courseware, and other deliverables using efficient and effective adult learning methodologies and interactive design principles.
  • Updates existing eLearning content based on enhanced quality standards, organizational changes, system changes/updates, and end-user feedback.
  • Defines training plans/approaches for projects requiring eLearning and multi-media training components by consulting with Talent Development, Human Resources, and client/business owners.
  • Manages the publishing and tracking of all learning content in the UTSW learning management system in partnership with Information Resources.
  • Evaluates innovative learning and development methods and best practices to incorporate into existing offerings as well as address unmet organizational capabilities; makes improvements to continuously improve and evolve curricula.
  • Advises designers and clients on the options and best modes of delivery for various types or modalities of training.
  • Develop the UX design ensuring our courses, programs and LMS are adapted as necessary
  • Assesses existing learning offerings and builds methods to blend learning using technology to drive user application and outcomes.
  • Manages all eLearning deliverables produced by the eLearning practice areas
  • Prepares reports and dashboards that inform utilization, business needs, and learning effectiveness.
  • Consistently improves the online, internal customer learning and usability experience within the learning management system portal.
  • Manages and administers the Skillsoft Percipio professional development software system, ensuring content is up-to-date, user engagement is optimized, and reporting features support data-driven decision-making.
  • Serves as an internal eLearning experience leader to share best practice instructional design and quality standards.
  • Maintains and manages audio/video equipment for content development, ensuring optimal functionality for recording, editing, and producing high-quality learning materials.
  • Produces and edits digital learning content, including videos, audio recordings, and interactive media, to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Lead and facilitate live training sessions, workshops, webinars, and other professional development events regarding eLearning best practices
  • Stays abreast of industry trends and practices to ensure that the latest technologies and techniques are employed to engage learners and enhance learner outcomes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
