Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary -Vaco has partnered with a growing construction company and they have an opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist to handle high volume invoice processing and vendor billing. Experience in high-volume invoicing is a must. Client is offering healthy benefits and hybrid work model after training.


Responsibilities:
  • Accounts payable processing for multiple vendor accounts
  • High volume invoice processing
  • Heavy data entry
  • Compiling financial reports based on data entry
  • Vendor billing and communication
  • Fixing payment issues with regards to incorrect statuses
  • Improve accounts payable operations through process enhancements

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of accounts payable experience
  • High volume invoice processing experience
  • Must me comfortable working overtime during busy times
  • Construction accounting is a plus
  • Experience with Sage Intact is a major plus.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Superior customer service skills.

Schedule:
  • 8 hour shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekends as needed
