Chicago, IllinoisAdd to Favorite Jobs Email this Job The Department of Pediatrics at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine seeks a full-time non-tenure-eligible Clinician-Educator at the rank up to an Associate Professor. Responsibilities include a mix of Outpatient general pediatric cardiology and inpatient service, including Cardiology Ward/Consult service and/or Cardiology Stepdown team. Opportunities exist for clinical research and collaboration through the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute of Chicago. Qualified candidates will have an M.D. or D.O. and be eligible for an Illinois medical license. Qualifications include Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Cardiology. Applicants should have completed a categorical fellowship in Pediatric Cardiology. The start date is negotiable and the position will remain open until filled. Base Salary Range: $246, 011- $290,775 Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is ranked among the nation's top children's hospitals. The Lurie Children's Heart Center has dramatically expanded over the last 5 years and includes over 60 full-time attending cardiologists, 12 general cardiology fellows and 5 advanced/senior fellows, three congenital heart surgeons, and a dedicated team of cardiac anesthesiologists. Our Section of Cardiac Imaging includes over 20 full-time pediatric cardiologists who work in collaboration with full-time radiologists in a robust clinical-translational imaging partnership with the Department of Radiology. Opportunities exist for inter-disciplinary investigation through the Bluhm Cardiovascular Institute of Northwestern Medicine and the Stanley Manne Children's Research Institute of Chicago. Cardiac intensive care services are provided in the state-of-the-art 44-bed Regenstein Cardiac Care Unit. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
