What you'll do:

  • Renegotiate existing leases to optimize terms and conditions, ensuring favorable outcomes for Avis Budget Group.
  • Identify areas of development potential for new store growth, conducting thorough market analysis and feasibility studies.
  • Lead the site selection process for all new locations and relocations, considering factors such as demographics, traffic patterns, and competition.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and capital allocation, ensuring cost-effective strategies for expansion.
  • Recruit and manage brokers within your market, overseeing development strategies and site acquisition efforts.
  • Negotiate lease agreements, including price, terms, and build-out requirements, in collaboration with legal and real estate teams.
  • Facilitate lease renewals and conduct location analysis to assess profitability and performance.
  • Establish timelines and budgets for obtaining necessary zoning and building approvals, coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, engineers, architects, and contractors as needed to facilitate project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets, monitoring progress and addressing any issues or delays proactively.

You should apply if you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in real estate development, leasing, or property management, with a focus on commercial properties.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating leases and managing development projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and trends, with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and real estate management software.

Good-Faith Salary Range:

  • The annual starting salary for this position is between $110,000 - $140,000 annually. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
  • This position is also eligible for bonus and long-term incentive compensation awards.
  • This job posting is anticipated to remain open until April 25th.
