Essential Job Duties |
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Maintenance Planner to join our
Building Maintenance and Operations department. In this key role, you will ensure the reliability and efficiency of building systems and operations. You will
manage preventive maintenance programs, schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, oversee planned repair projects, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards. If you are passionate about optimizing facility operations,

Key Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain and update the FME database to reflect new construction, renovations, and mechanic feedback
- Generate, track, and close out work orders while expediting material requests and procurement
- Analyze data to improve equipment reliability and optimize preventive maintenance budgets
- Assist in developing preventive maintenance contracts, track performance, and report results
- Maintain detailed records, analyze findings, and recommend corrective actions
- Conduct design reviews, inform shop supervisors of upcoming renovations, and perform construction inspections to ensure project quality
- Document discrepancies, coordinate with project managers for corrections, and ensure compliance with maintenance standards
- Assist in facility assessments by documenting work history and evaluating the serviceability of equipment and systems
- Organize, schedule, and delegate planned work to employees or contractors
- Develop scopes, timelines, and action plans for projects and equipment upgrades, including piping, mechanical, electrical, and hazardous material remediation

Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education |
Associate's Degree in the assigned discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Some positions may require certification. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. |
Other Required Qualifications |
- Experience in the construction, renovation or maintenance of buildings and building systems, including experience in the direction or planning of building repairs and maintenance projects or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Considerable knowledge of work methods, process techniques, resource requirements, and safety considered necessary to complete needed work or service
- Direct knowledge of one or more of the building mechanical trades with hands-on experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills and solid compliance skills
- Experience in building trades
- Ability to lift up to 90 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodations

- Previous work in facilities maintenance and operations
- Project management experience preferred
