Job Title: L4 Technician
Experience Required: 7+ years of dedicated Data Center (DC) experience Role Overview: The team will handle troubleshooting of large GPU deployments within an enterprise DC environment. Summary: * Primary Responsibilities: * Remove network cables as part of datacenter decommissioning. * Run, label, and stage power and networking cables. * Perform DBD removal (no scanning involved). * Follow procedures for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment under the guidance of Datacenter Technician Leads. * Prepare, stage, set up, and perform basic startups and shutdowns for hardware following written instructions, checklists, guides, and standard procedures. * Conduct physical audits of datacenter assets. * Requirements: * High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. * Basic knowledge of computer hardware, servers, and components. * Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word). * Willingness to travel up to 75%. Main Function: The primary function of a Data Center Technician is to monitor software to process business, scientific, engineering, and other data according to operating instructions. Job Responsibilities: * Monitor systems for equipment failure or performance errors. * Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating the program. * Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs. * Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports. Qualifications: * Associate's degree in computer programming or equivalent training preferred. * 5+ years of DC experience required. * Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Skills: * Data center operations * Cable management * Hardware troubleshooting Top Skills: * Data center * Cable management * Hardware troubleshooting Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Candidates must be open to working at all Milwaukee DC sites as their home base. * Technicians will travel to other DC sites across the country 75% of the time once the team is fully ramped up. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
