The Role

The Senior Systems Software Support Engineer is responsible for the availability of applications and ensuring end-to-end order flow.

Location

This role is a fully remote position within the United States.

The Main Responsibilities
  • Lead the SAS administration over seeing cluster support, client relationships, resources management and consolidation.
  • Experience within an Enterprise Technical support environment includes operating system, network stability, application components, etc. in an event.
  • Support wire center clients with data and scorecard support.
  • This position requires that the individual lead efforts to perform analysis on outage situations and application issues.
  • Lead outage review meetings and get-well plans on problem areas.
  • Manage change and incident tickets for standards and quality.
  • Provide guidance and training on outage and ticketing standards.
  • Manage and drive standard change and incident management processes.
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity for processes improvements, training and learning activities.
  • Manage and report on production support metrics.
  • Assist with budget management.
  • Lead for general production support questions, issues and resolutions.
  • Drive cleanup and efficiencies within the production support scope.
What We Look For in a Candidate

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of Production Support experience
  • 5+ years managing production and maintenance projects.
  • Experience and/or knowledge with batch processing.
  • Experience and/or knowledge with Control-M.
  • In depth knowledge of Change, Release, Outage and Production Support processes and standards.
  • Strong, independent performer able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of general operating system systems such as Windows, Unix, and Linux and database familiarity
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong trouble isolation skills to independently perform analysis and support of complex midrange applications.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and efforts at the same time.
Preferred Qualifications
  • SharePoint administration knowledge.
Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

$82,969 - $110,625 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY
$87,117 - $116,156 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI
$91,266 - $121,688 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
