STV's Chicago Transportation team is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Construction Management Office Engineer to support key transportation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract administration, construction documentation, and project coordination. This role requires proficiency in construction management software, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate with contractors, engineers, and agency representatives. The successful candidate will oversee project documentation, ensure compliance with contract requirements, support field inspection teams, and assist with contractor pay estimates to help deliver quality projects efficiently.

STV is seeking a Construction Management Office Engineer for our Transportation Group in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, daily reports, and change orders.

  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and verifying contractor submissions.

  • Assist in coordinating project schedules, tracking progress, process plans, and maintaining accurate records of construction activities.

  • Support field inspection teams by providing technical assistance, resolving issues, and ensuring adherence to project requirements.

  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and agency representatives, to facilitate project success.

  • Assist Construction Management team with Contractor Pay Estimates and Applications.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of contract administration, and construction documentation.

  • Proficiency in construction management software (Trimble) and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred but not required.

Compensation Range:

$100,226.48 - $133,635.31
