Job Summary

This position will be supporting Abridge and additional third-party applications within Informatics. Serves as a liaison between Corewell Health System providers, physicians, information system leadership and clinical leadership. The position will support adoption and best practice use of the Electronic Medical Records. They will build positive working relationships with internal and external physicians and practices to assist in increasing adoption of technology and clinical practice standards.

Essential Functions
  • Provides classroom training for internal and external providers and practices on Corewell Health's hospital and ambulatory Electronic Medical Record(EMR).
  • Communicates changes in educational content and training to internal and external providers and practices.
  • Assist providers and practices with at-the-elbow project support.
  • Maintains active databases and files on each physician, including new provider orientation and remedial education.
Qualifications

Required

  • Associate's degree or equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant healthcare experience
  • 3 years of relevant experience working in an EHR (preferably Epic)
  • Knowledge of health information management
  • CRT - EPIC Clinical Informatics within 1 year of hire

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, healthcare or related field
  • Clinical work experience
  • Background in informatics
  • CRT - EPIC Credentialed Trainer within 1 year of hire
