Your Tasks:

This position is responsible for supporting Manufacturing by assisting with scheduling and ordering of materials. This position works closely with manufacturing, materials management, external suppliers and purchasing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Create and maintain master data in SAP.
  • Work directly with Manufacturing staff to coordinate the availability of materials for production use by reviewing production schedules, material requirements and material priorities.
  • Provide consistent and transparent feedback to stakeholders on issues of materials availability.
  • Work effectively with Materials Management, and Manufacturing to ensure proper inventory levels are maintained and create inventory reports to meet production plan and inventory requirements.
  • Analyze and consolidate inventory data to track and analyze relevant performance metrics.
  • Make recommendations for improvements and implement approved ideas.
  • Collaborate with Materials Management, Quality and Procurement and external suppliers to proactively anticipate and identify material availability risks and develop action and resolution plans.
  • Coordinate with Supplier Quality, Quality Control departments to ensure all testing and other specifications are included in the raw material specification documents.
  • Independently address day to day activities and issues; obtains management guidance for strategic or complex topics.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's Degree Business Management or similar degree; 0-2 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with SAP materials management module desired.
  • Experience in a life science or biotech environment desired.
  • Familiarity with GMP regulations and Quality systems.
  • Understanding of controlled materials processes and inventory management preferred.


Skills:



  • Ability to coordinate supply and demand for a busy manufacturing operation.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work effectively across various departments.

Generally, this job is performed in an office environment.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $30.33 - $41.05/hour. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
