Description
The employee shall obtain and maintain designation as a Collateral Duty Inspector (CDI) for the below Support Equipment. You will acquire designation/certification as Hydraulic Contamination, HAZMAT, Tire and Wheel certification, and certifications as deemed necessary by the COR. The GSE contractor shall test, troubleshoot, install, remove, inspect, and repair, align/rig systems components and ancillary equipment as directed by the work center supervisor for the following Ground Support Equipment: A/S32A-45, Mid-Range Tow Tractor, (PN) 10-10-0001 Mobile Electric Power Plant, NC-10, (PN) 328AS100-1 A/M32A-108, Mobile Electric Power Plant, NC-108, (PN) 328AS100-3 A/M24M-6, Trailer Mounted Electric Power Plant, (PN) C637 ACU-24/M, Portable Air Compressor Unit, (PN) 530-1813 A/M27T-15, Diesel Hydraulic Power Supply (PN) 040489-100 A/M32T-6, Cabin Leakage Tester (PN) 93038-100-AV-8 Water Demineralization Trailer (PN) 75D110065-1007 A/U47A-5, Mobile Air Start Unit, (PN) 4505453 A/M42M-2A, Portable Floodlight Set, (PN) 3573AS100-1 A/S32A-44, Aircraft Utility Crane, (PN) 9319-010, 9319-011 Aircraft Tow Bar 22FT ALBAR (PN) 1479AS500-1 MODELS 3000 A, B, AND H, Engine Transportation Trailer, 3 Thousand Trailer, (PN) 105021, 104904, and 107889 B4 Stand Aircraft Maintenance Stand, (PN) 54J6345 A/S32M-19, 25T Wheel Mounted Heavy Maintenance Crane, (TEREX), (PN) CD 225 HMC A/S32K-1E, Air-Launched Weapons Loader, (SATS Loader), (PN) 3772AS100-1 4T Portable Floor Crane, (Cobra Crane), (PN) 75D110080-1001 Liquid Coolant Filtration Unit, (PN) LCFU-2AC-302-8, LCFU-2AC-302-9 A/M32M-40, Small Corrosion Control Cart, (PN) 051497-100 The contractor will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and squadron SEPMS assigned to the MALS for repair and/or inspections. You will inspect, Diagnose, and Test GSE to determine equipment serviceability and proper operation. Clean and treats for corrosion. Service equipment with fuel, oil, water, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, and compressed air. Diagnose mechanical and electronic circuitry malfunctions using visual and auditory senses, test equipment, and technical publications. Stencils and marks GSE by technical publications Train and advise contractors and other workers on diagnosis and repair maintenance problems. Have knowledge of: Applicable Publications, Diagrams, Sketches, and Drawings Applicable Precision Measuring Equipment Applicable knowledge of aircraft ground handling and common maintenance practices. Ground Support Equipment Mechanics shall be a CDI with the capability of performing all tasks on all systems.
