About the role

As a Back Plant Operator, you are responsible for the safe, environmentally sound and efficient daily operation of industrial systems and equipment associated with Reworld's industrial disposal process.

Position Responsibilities:

* Perform assigned operational tasks and inspections utilizing various types of designated industrial equipment and hand/power tools

* Complete routine inspections of assigned equipment and document details in accordance with facility procedures

* Troubleshoot assigned equipment and responsibly report issues and repair requests utilizing defined work order processes and procedures

* Utilize weekly activity books and critical items checklist to perform operational and equipment related function checks

* Safely perform lock-out/tag-out processes of equipment in support of assigned maintenance teams

* Additional duties as assigned to ensure safe and efficient facility operations

Position Requirements & Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred

* Reworld offers GED Works - a fully funded program for employees to achieve their GED.

* Valid driver's license

* Must have experience operating heavy industrial equipment

* Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule

Physical Demands of the Role:

* Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb

* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces

* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator

* Consistently work in various weather conditions

* Rotating shifts, days and nights
