How can you make an impact?

The Pilot and Sales Support Specialist (California) is responsible for managing pilots and other key sales functions to drive revenue involves overseeing the execution of strategic initiatives designed to boost sales performance. This includes organizing and managing events across the assigned territory to engage potential clients, showcase products or services, and build relationships that contribute to business growth. The individual in this role ensures seamless coordination of pilots, evaluates their effectiveness, and leverages insights to refine sales strategies. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for success in this position.

Candidates must reside in California and are authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. This role involves up to 75% travel throughout the state, preference will be given to those based in Central California.

What you will be doing:

  • Develops and implements pilot research plans; collects data, provides detailed analysis, and recommends changes to improve the pilot process and outcomes.
  • Develops pilot enablement resources and content, including pilot tips and training guides.
  • Leads pilot debrief sessions and delegates next steps; collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure next steps are executed.
  • Utilizes the Pilot Intake Form to assess and order required materials for each teacher.
  • Tracks and manages pilot materials, resolving backorders, and ensuring availability of essential items.
  • Oversees pilot licenses and verifies access prior to pilot training.
  • Serves as the primary contact for customers; answers pilot and content questions, escalating critical questions to cross-functional teams.
  • Schedules calls with reps to review pilot progress and updates Pilot Checklists with new information and determining next steps.
  • Schedules and facilitates virtual professional learning sessions with curriculum specialists or program authors.
  • Coordinates symposia, roadshows, and other professional learning events.
  • Plans and executes events, as outlined in the campaign strategy, to enhance brand or program awareness.
  • Responsible for determining conference attendance and coordinate conference logistics.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of applicable experience or 5+ years of applicable experience and managerial experience preferred.
  • Experience managing piloting processes and research projects.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Deep understanding of content and product.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office with advanced excel skills.

The pay range for this position is between $58,000-$80,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
