JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics seeks to hire an undergraduate student or recent graduate to work part-time as a Research Assistant. The selected candidates will merge the data products of the Hobby Eberly Telescope Dark Energy Experiment (HETDEX) with the One hundred Degrees in Narrowband (ODIN) survey, quantify the contamination rates of both surveys, and determine the nature of both surveys' false detections. Expected hours will be approximately 20 hours/week. The selected candidates will report to Dr. Robin Ciardullo. Applications will be reviewed until the position is filled.
