WHAT WE OFFER * Paid Time Off * Medical * Dental * Vision * Flexible Spending Accounts * Critical Illness/Accident Coverage * Life Insurance * Short & Long-term Disability * 401(K) * Profit Sharing * Parental Leave * Tuition Reimbursement * Paid Holidays ABOUT THE JOB * Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP and Company policies, procedures and recognized practices. * Operate a plastic blow molding machine and auxiliary equipment producing a container in a safe and high quality method and ensure a continuous supply of bottles to the filler. * Perform and/or assists in accurate mold, insert and color changes on the line as dictated by the production schedule * Perform basic processing of injection and/or blow molding machines to improve machine efficiency and reduce scrap. * Make frequent on time quality checks on products being produced from established quality standards making process changes as needed. * Assist maintenance personnel on mechanical repairs. * Perform assigned preventative maintenance work. * Maintain work area to acceptable safety and housekeeping standards. * Complete and file all required documentation in an orderly and timely manner. * Verify material usage per standards. * Perform minor troubleshooting and programming on the line. Communicate with maintenance on machine performance issues and submit work order requests for corrective maintenance. * Notify leads and supervisors of any major problems or questions, including quality or Food Safety concerns. * Communicate processing information to designated personnel on incoming shift. * Routinely communicate with up/down stream operators to maximize line performance, ensure product integrity and accurate bottle cutoffs. * Ensure work area meets 5S guidelines. ABOUT YOU * Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent education. * Minimum of 2 years previous experience in a fast-paced production/manufacturing environment. * One (1) year Blow Molding in the food/beverage industry with knowledge in PET processing preferred. * Proficient with basic computer applications, including Excel, Microsoft Office, and Word. * Able to read, write, and communicate in English. Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions. * Must exhibit ability and desire to work within a team but have the ability to work alone. * Works with minimal supervision, be a self-starter who leads by example, and be dependable. * Ability to prioritize and plan work activities under pressure. * Some mechanical ability to assist in daily operation of equipment * Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide * Ability to carry and/or maneuver up to 50 pounds Wis-Pak/WP Beverage is an equal opportunity employer that complies with EEOC rules and regulations.
