Precision Cleaning Technician - Wilmington, MA SOC is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Precision Cleaning Technician to join our team in an ISO 5 clean room environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the precision cleaning of parts and components used in high-tech manufacturing processes. This role requires adherence to strict cleanliness standards and protocols to ensure the highest quality and performance of our products. Key Responsibilities: Perform precision cleaning of parts and components according to established procedures and standards. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including ultrasonic cleaners, rinsing stations, and drying ovens. Follow detailed work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with ISO 5 clean room standards. Conduct inspections of cleaned parts to verify cleanliness and quality, using microscopes and other inspection tools. Maintain accurate records of cleaning processes, including batch records, cleaning logs, and inspection reports. Ensure traceability of all cleaned parts by accurately documenting and labeling each part throughout the cleaning process. Familiarity with IEST-STD-CC1246 Adhere to safety protocols and clean room gowning procedures to prevent contamination. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and implement process improvements. Participate in training programs to stay current with clean room practices and industry standards. Assist in the maintenance and calibration of clean room equipment and instruments. Support other clean room activities as needed, including packaging and assembly of cleaned parts. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus. Previous experience working in a clean room environment, preferably ISO 5 or ISO 6. Familiarity with precision cleaning techniques and equipment. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures accurately. Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination. Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand or sit for extended periods. Ability to lift and move parts and equipment weighing up to 32 pounds. Willingness to wear full clean room attire, including gowns, gloves, boots, and masks, for extended periods. Work Environment: The position is based in an ISO 5 clean room environment with strict cleanliness and contamination control standards. Exposure to cleaning agents and chemicals; proper handling and safety procedures must be followed Must Haves: High School Diploma Previous experience working in a clean room environment, preferably ISO 5 or ISO 6. Familiarity with precision cleaning techniques and equipment Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures accurately.
