City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Provider Specialty Vascular Surgery Overview: Sentara Medical Group is seeking an experienced Academic Vascular Surgeon to lead and develop a Vascular Surgery integrated residency/fellowship program in Norfolk, Virginia. The position will involve direct patient care, leadership, teaching, and administrative responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity to support a Vascular Surgery program and to make a difference in the community by training new surgeons and partnering in our mission to improve health every day. Job Highlights: Join a collegial team of 17 vascular surgeons at a Level 1 trauma hospital with 2 Hybrid ORs Develop the program curriculum. Maintain current knowledge of national innovations in curriculum form and content. Responsible for the recruitment, selection, instruction, supervision, counseling, evaluation, and advancement of residents and fellows. Minimum Requirements: M.D. or D.O, licensed to practice in Virginia and board certified in Vascular Surgery Minimum 5 years of experience, have excellent clinical and technical skills, and take a collaborative approach to patient care.
