Overview
Mammography Technologist Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm Full-time; FTE 0.8 Moline, IL $7,500 Sign on Bonus Under general supervision performs professional duties in the application of Mammography services. Demonstrates proficiency in performing all Mammography related exams, and other related patient care services.

Responsibilities
Job Performance
- Demonstrates competency in preparing patients for procedures.
- Correctly performs all prescribed Mammography procedures in an efficient manner
- Is able to work independently and critique exams.
- Is able to understand and provide thorough patient history when communicating with radiologists.
- Utilizes good judgment to plan effectively and solve problems.
- Is cognizant of radiation safety to self and others.
- Demonstrates competency in the storage and transfer of exams.
- Participates in community breast health events as needed.
Patient Care
- Provides patient education, including breast health and insures correct consent forms are signed for invasive procedures.
- Demonstrates competence in the administration of age appropriate care.
- Obtains and records adequate patient history and interprets physician's orders correctly.
- Correctly orders, tracks and charges exams in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
Education:
- Graduate of JRCERT approved school for Radiologic Technology with equivalent training and experience as required by the licensing bodies. Additional Mammography education as required by licensing bodies.
Licenses/Certifications:
- The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in both Radiology and Mammography. If cross-trained into Mammography from Radiography, has 12 months from completion of training period to successfully pass Mammography Registry.
- Holds a current license or conditional license from the State of Illinois Emergency Management Agency and/or the Iowa Department of Public Health.
- Current CPR
