Qualifications:

Master's degree in Textile Design or Bachelor's degree in Textile Design with related industry experience.

Three or more years textile industry experience preferred. University teaching
experience preferred.

Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required):

* Knowledge of textile industry trends and technologies

* Demonstrated ability in industry-standard technical woven design, print design
and/or knit design; knowledge across multiple platforms preferred

* Ability to develop textile collections from concept to curation

* Demonstrated instruction skills and lesson planning with excellent communication skills

* Interest in sustainable materials and technologies

* Collaborative by nature; demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of
people

* Detail oriented with ability to multi-task
