Apply today! The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner/Naturopath provides psychiatric care to a population of low-income adults with a broad range of physical, mental, behavioral, and social conditions. The responsibilities include psychiatric evaluation of patients, prescribing and managing medications, coordinating care with other staff within VOAOR's continuum of treatment programs (Men's and Women's Residential Center). In addition to these duties, this position will also work closely with the Medical Director who will develop appropriate policies and protocols that support the delivery of psychiatric assessment and prescribing services and physical health services that support the clinical programs. The PNP/ND will work closely with the clinical teams and be available for team consultation and to provide training. In the absence of the Medical Director, this position will provide coverage. Supervisory: This position is not responsible for supervising other employees. May supervise and provide training to nursing students, naturopathic students and other interns. Schedule: This is a full time position, 40 hours/week, with flexibility related to the schedule given the organization's expanding needs.
