Position Title: CNC Machinist
Salary: $49,920-$58,240 per year Shift: 1st Hours: 6:00am-4:00pm QPS is looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator for a client in Richmond, IL. If you have a positive attitude and the ability to work independently and as a team, we would like to talk with you! CNC Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set Up, Programming & Controls. - G code & editing. CNC Machinist Requirements: - Read micrometers, calipers, other gauges. - Read and interpret blueprints. - Work 10 hours per day, 5 days per week, 3 paid breaks totaling 40 minutes. - Ability to lift 20 pounds to waist level, infrequently, 5-10 times per day. - Ability of proper tool selection for part machining. - Minor pushing with hands to tighten vises, loading parts to vises, loading vises occasionally. - Knowledge of machine setups. - Ability to edit G code programs - don't need to write but edit is s must. - General math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication. - Knowledge of fractions and decimal equivalents thereof. - Ability and willingness to operate and/or setup 2 machines at any one time, when practical. - Does NOT need CAM Software.
