Vehicle Maintenance Helper (Nightshift)

Your future role

Embrace a new opportunity and become an integral part of our operations team. You will report to the facility supervisor and collaborate with a passionate and motivated group of teammates. Your contributions will support the maintenance and servicing of our Light Rail Vehicles (LRV) while ensuring a clean and safe work environment. On a daily basis, you will perform a variety of tasks related to cleaning, helping in repairs, and assisting with equipment service.

We will rely on you for:

• Efficient cleaning of rail equipment and shop areas.
• Assisting the shipping and receiving department with materials.
• Servicing LRVs, including fueling, sanding, washing, and cleaning.
• Diagnosing problems and supporting necessary repairs.
• Maintaining and overhauling essential operating systems and components.
• Carrying out general housekeeping duties and other responsibilities as assigned.

All about you

We value enthusiasm and a strong work ethic over extensive experience. While we don't expect you to possess every skill, we believe the following attributes will set you up for success in this role:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Preferred: 1 year of technical experience.
• Physical capability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work in various physical positions and environments.
