YOU As the EH&S Coordinator, you will be part of the Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Team supporting the Manager, EH&S to develop, enforce and maintain environmental, health and safety policies, programs and procedures according to federal regulations, state regulations and best practices. As a part of the EH&S team, you will be responsible for supporting environmental, health and safety related initiatives, training, continuous improvement, incident response and investigations, reporting, worker's compensation claims and physical security. The EH&S Coordinator will operate within a highly collaborative work environment and report directly to the Manager, EH&S. This is a swing shift position (3:30pm - 12:30am). WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time) Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and company policies by supporting and maintaining our comprehensive written environmental, health & safety program. Support branch EH&S initiatives, including performing and reviewing job hazard analysis, incident investigation process, report outs from conclusions and observations, and metrics reporting. (40%) Perform routine inspections to ensure known hazard controls are still effective and operating by design. Maintain EH&S related records, operational permits related to EH&S, including PIT inspections maintaining employees are trained and recertified in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements by maintaining all required permits, ensuring permits are up to date (40%) Along with the Manager, EH&S, coordinate and co-facilitate safety committee meetings and Safety MDI. Conduct in person training sessions as applicable and develop/draft the content for each session. Collect, review and analyze employee feedback through the Observation Feedback program with a lens for risk identification and value-added opportunities for improvement. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in both a professional office environment, where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used, as well as the production floor. The employee occasionally works around moving mechanical parts. Noise level may be loud at times. TRAVEL This position requires domestic travel up to 10% of the time. WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, non-exempt position is located in Stockton, CA. RELOCATION Relocation is not available for this position.
