Department: Eastwood Behavioral-Livonia FULL Time- Day shift Monday- Friday 9:00am-6:00pm- NO weekends or major holidays. Full benefits are associated with this position We are seeking a Master's level Behavioral Health provider with any of the following licensure: FULLY LICENSED ONLY (no limited licenses)- LPC, LLP, LMSW or LP in the state of Michigan. MCBAP credentials preferred with previous experience facilitating mental health and substance use groups. Clinicians that specialize in working with children and adolescents preferred. GENERAL SUMMARY: Provides behavioral health counseling services. Responsibilities: Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goals. Administers individual and group therapy. Maintains thorough and confidential records of observations. Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions. Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community. Works directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - Master's Degree with at least 3 years' experience in the field of counseling, social work or psychology CERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED One or more of the following required: Licensed Master Social Worker credentialed from the Michigan Board of Social Work obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. Licensed Counselor credentialed from the Michigan Board of Counseling obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. Licensed Psychologist credentialed from the Michigan Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Verified by local Credentialing Office. Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Any issuing authority accepted. Verified by local Credentialing Office. BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association accepted.
