As Scrum Master you will be expected to establish collaborative partnership with key stakeholders and provide coaching at all levels in an emerging agile environment. Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices. Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, and outstanding analytical and research skills, as well as a passion for emerging technologies. In addition to being a seasoned, well-trained professional, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to inspire confidence from, and to collaborate closely with technology leaders and internal stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
  • Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
  • Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Works with Sr Scrum Master/Agile coach and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Iteration Planning, Daily Scrum, Iteration Review, and Iteration Retrospective.
Job Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master and /or Agile coach.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT full development life cycle.
  • Agile practitioner mindset with an understanding of common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and iterative development practices.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful ability to manage large and complex software implementations
  • Outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e. Scrum, Kanban, SAFe), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

Bonus Qualifications

Certified SAFe or experience in a SAFe agile environment
Project Management experience
