Job Summary

Schedule: Monday through Friday in Charlotte, NC onsite with some hybrid flexibility. Must be able to work onsite as business needs.

Working as the Financial Analyst you will be responsible for assessing the financial performance of franchise national account programs. You will assist with collecting, compiling, analyzing, and presenting operational profitability data regarding new national account business, existing accounts, and re-bid contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting financial data from internal and external sources, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Compiling financial reports including but not limited to profit/loss statements, proformas, depreciation schedules, balance sheet statements, and other ad-hoc analysis as required
  • Analyzing financial factors such as revenue, pricing, sales mix, product cost, commissions, operational expenses, and variances to draw conclusions
  • Presenting financial analysis to franchise stakeholders and executive leadership
  • Recommending and demonstrating strategies to improve account profitability for franchise operators
  • Maintaining and presenting monthly management reports
  • Supporting franchise group projects and initiatives as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or University in Accounting or Finance; three to five years of related experience is preferred
  • Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret financial reports
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community
  • Ability to effectively present information to management
  • Ability to competently use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Ability to competently use a personal computer
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Experience with SAP, Excel, Power Point, Access
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
