SUMMARY
The Analytics Delivery Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that employees of the organization can access and use the information they need to do their best work. Additionally, this position will be responsible for capturing the analytics needs of senior leaders, business units, and project teams; and steering internal development efforts accordingly.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Consults with business partners to better understand their complex analytics needs.

  • Assists the analytics department to define and ideate solutions with a uniform insight delivery in mind.

  • Utilizes a product-oriented approach to analytics delivery by reusing existing data and analytics assets when possible.

  • Interfaces with business partners to intake new analytics requests.

  • Coaches the organization in the use of enterprise analytics resources.

  • Collaborates across the business to understand IT and business constraints.

  • Serves as a cross-functional resource to develop and continuously improve an enterprise analytics delivery strategy.

  • Works within the department to ensure all resources and insights are uniformly delivered and consistently upkept.

  • Catalogs and monitors the analytics content available to our business partners.

  • Plans and helps facilitate analytics education sessions.

  • Helps disseminate information about the organization's knowledge and insight resources.

  • Ensures analytics resources adhere to predefined standards and have been routed through the proper governance channels.

  • Networks with internal and external partners.

  • Enhances skills by attending conferences, researching publications, completing courses, local academia, and meetups.

  • Promotes collaboration with other teams within the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Familiar with object-oriented programming (OOP) and Structured Query Language (SQL).

  • Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Tableau or Power BI.

  • Knowledge of version control systems such as GIT.

  • Self-driven, curios, and creative.

  • Demonstrated track record of working with diverse, cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment.

  • Confident, energetic self-starters, with strong moderation, and communication skills.

  • Possess superior presentation skills, including storytelling and other techniques to guide and inspire.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's Degree in Math, Business, Economics or related field required

  • 1-3 years experience in analytics or a business support role required

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Project Management preferred

  • Business Analyst preferred
