Job Summary The Maintenance Manager is responsible for the direct supervision and coordination of the maintenance department functions and programs. Directs and coordinates support services. Training and development of its employees. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Assists in interviews and hiring processes Orientates and trains maintenance personnel Coaches counsel employees, and initiates discipline as required Evaluates the performance of subordinates Develops and implements preventative and other maintenance programs to ensure proper equipment operation Identifies, researches, and resolves problems Coordinates maintenance activities with the operating department's requirements Leads employees in continuous improvement and safety initiatives Performs regular/preventative maintenance on all machinery, tools, and buildings Develops, implements, and supervises the plant's Preventive Maintenance program Repairs machinery, equipment, buildings, and other Company assets in accordance with diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturing specifications, or by management request Orders supplies and parts as required, at competitive pricing and rates Maintains records of repair/maintenance activities, per Company policy Prepares other reports as required Performs duties consistent with established safety rules and procedures Performs other duties as required
Compensation & Benefit Information: Hourly Pay Range: $31.00-$35.00 per hour dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. Qualifications
Post-high school education is required Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in machine repair and maintenance area; 1 to 3 years of experience managing people Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding Working knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations Demonstrate working knowledge of hazardous wage and hazardous material handling procedures and practices Working knowledge of the use of precision tools, measuring instruments, and other hand tools Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business software Preferred understanding of company policies, practices, and procedures Must be at least 18 years of age
