Our Powertrain Operations facility, located on Pilgrim Road in Menomonee Falls, WI, is where the "jewel" of the motorcycle comes to life. Pilgrim Road employees produce engines and transmissions for the final assembly plant in York, Pennsylvania, as well as transmissions, and replacement parts for sale through Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Parts and Accessories business. Job Summary

Provides quality/business leadership recommendations based on the overall benefit to the organization. Develops and integrates quality initiatives and measurements that align with business strategy. Leads the organization in the successful achievement of the Quality Strategy through the ability to: influence others, collaborate with key stakeholders, enable change, communicate Quality to all levels of the organization, support and empower others in the use of Quality methods, and assure the continual improvement of quality systems.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the organization utilizing Quality/Business tools, techniques, and methodologies to achieve Harley-Davidson's Quality Strategy.
  • Organize, plan, and execute the site's Quality Planning & Execution activities to meet or exceed business goals for the organization as a whole.
  • Enable the development, planning and implementation of necessary quality competencies throughout the organization.
  • Develop and manage current and future departmental budgets.
  • Be responsible for metrics in Safety (Near Misses), Quality, and Cost Delivery.
  • Leads drive towards systems and strategies that enhance process predictability and output performance.
  • Allocate resources in support of supplier selection and development.
  • Provides leadership and support in the execution of Concurrent Product and Process Development Methodology tools and techniques to ensure successful quality, cost and timing of new product launches, and current production processes.

Required



  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in process measurement and management.
  • Working knowledge of measurement and testing equipment selection and appropriate use.
  • Hands-on experience in the application of advance product quality planning tools and techniques.
  • Understands application specific PC programs and metrology techniques (i.e. CMM- Coordinate Measurement Machine, Engage, etc)
  • Substantial experience leading teams and ability to foster key stakeholder relationships.


Preferred



  • Professional Certification (i.e. ASQ- American Society for Quality, APICS - American Production & Inventory Control Society, etc)
